You’ll need:
*A vivid blush color (don’t be scared—orange, bright pink, reds, corals, and reds look great in the summer especially on bronzed skin)
*A contour (can be a blush, bronzer, foundation, concealer, powder 2-3 shades darker than your skintone)
*A highlight (can be blush, bronzer, foundation, concealer, luminizer, but should be lighter than your skin)
*A blush brush and powder brush (good to have two or three so you don’t “muddy” the blush, contour, and highlight colors by mixing the shades together on accident)
Apply your blush to the apples of the cheeks, dust the contour in the hollows, & sweep the highlight shade on the tops of the cheekbones. Lightly blend where the colors meet & voila! You’re done.
Are you a fan of this contour/highlighting technique?
Thank you for this post! I've been wanting to try out contouring! (:
ReplyDeletemy friend and i were just recently talking about how people have all the sudden began to do it. i love it when its not too over the top with the blush and kept natural, like a makeup facelift without being able to see the makeup at all. great post.
ReplyDeletenow a days its hard to find girls that really know how to rock their makeup properly. its either too much or not enough. im not a big fan of make up but if a girl rocks it, it has to be right and i agree with this article on what it should look it.
